We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead design projects from concept to completion while managing client relationships, design teams, and project coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Client Management
- Lead client meetings to understand project requirements, lifestyle preferences, and budget expectations.
- Develop creative and practical design concepts for residential interiors.
- Prepare detailed space planning, layouts, mood boards, and design presentations.
- Create and review 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and working drawings.
- Present design proposals and guide clients through material and finish selections.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate closely with production, site execution, procurement, and installation teams.
- Conduct site visits, measurements, and project reviews.
- Ensure designs are executed as per approved drawings and quality standards.
- Resolve design-related challenges during project execution.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide junior designers and design associates.
- Review design outputs and maintain consistency in quality and presentation standards.
- Support the design team in developing innovative and efficient design solutions.
Technical Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed BOQs and project specifications.
- Ensure accuracy in manufacturing and execution drawings.
- Maintain knowledge of materials, finishes, hardware systems, and modular furniture solutions.
- Stay updated on design trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in residential interior design, modular furniture, or turnkey interior projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing residential interior and modular projects.
- Experience handling projects independently from concept to handover.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software such as Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, or 3ds Max.
- Strong knowledge of modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture detailing, and space planning.
- Understanding of materials, laminates, veneers, hardware systems, and production processes.
- Experience preparing detailed working drawings and BOQs.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with modular furniture manufacturers or interior contracting firms.
- Knowledge of premium residential interior projects.
- Familiarity with hardware brands such as Hettich, Hafele, Blum, Ebco, and similar systems.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
