Role Overview
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead projects from concept to execution. The ideal candidate should have a strong design sensibility, space planning expertise, material knowledge, and the ability to manage client expectations while coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and site execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead interior design projects from concept development to final execution
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, space plans, and presentations
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings, layouts, and working drawings
- Coordinate with 3D visualizers to develop realistic design presentations
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and dcor elements
- Manage client meetings, understand requirements, and present design solutions
- Work closely with project execution teams to ensure design intent is maintained on site
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and contractors for timely delivery
- Conduct site visits and resolve design-related challenges during execution
- Ensure projects are delivered within timelines and quality standards
- Mentor junior designers and support the growth of the design team
Requirements
- 46 years of experience in interior design, preferably in residential or premium interior projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools, and MS Office
- Strong understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, and execution detailing
- Excellent presentation, client handling, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong eye for detail, aesthetics, and luxury design sensibility
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design / Architecture / related field
Preferred Skills
- Experience in turnkey residential interior projects
- Knowledge of site execution and vendor coordination
- Ability to balance creativity with functionality and budget considerations
