About the Role
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead interior design projects from concept development through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits, measurements, and site analysis to develop accurate design layouts.
- Understand client requirements, preferences, and functional needs to create effective interior layouts and space plans.
- Develop and present design concepts, themes, mood boards, and reference images aligned with client expectations.
- Manage regular client interactions and design presentations, incorporating feedback and providing project updates.
- Prepare detailed service drawings, working drawings, layouts, elevations, and execution drawings.
- Conduct site visits during execution to monitor progress and ensure design accuracy and quality.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, agencies, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Ensure projects are delivered within defined timelines, budgets, quality standards, and design specifications.
- Identify design or execution challenges and provide practical, timely solutions.
- Manage and prioritize multiple interior design projects simultaneously.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong interior design sensibility and space-planning skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant interior design software
- Strong knowledge of working drawings, layouts, elevations, and detailing
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills
- Strong project coordination and management abilities
- Good understanding of site execution and vendor coordination
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in residential interior design projects
- Experience managing projects from concept to execution
- Strong exposure to client management, site execution, and vendor coordination
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
