Job Description

  • Review architectural and interior layouts to ensure accuracy and alignment with design intent
  • Coordinate with design teams to identify and resolve layout discrepancies
  • Develop and maintain detailed room matrices for guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
  • Ensure accurate allocation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment based on hospitality brand prototypes
  • Perform furniture, finish, and accessory take-offs directly from drawings
  • Compile quantities, dimensions, and technical details in Excel for documentation and tracking
  • Prepare detailed FF&E specifications using specification-writing software
  • Ensure all specifications align with brand standards, budgets, and project requirements
  • Validate furniture sizes and placements using AutoCAD to ensure proper fit within layouts
  • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to confirm dimensions and feasibility
  • Collaborate with senior designers, technical teams, procurement, and project managers to deliver complete design packages
  • Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, specifications, and submittals

Eligibility & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
  • 512 years of experience in a hospitality design firm
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, advanced Excel, and specification-writing software
  • Familiarity with hospitality brand standards and IDGM processes is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with strong attention to detail
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
