Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end interior design projects, from concept development to final execution, for residential and commercial spaces. This full-time, on-site role in the Pune Division involves meeting with clients to understand requirements, translating briefs into design concepts, and developing detailed space plans, mood boards, and material palettes. The Senior Interior Designer will prepare and review construction drawings, coordinate FF&E selections, and collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design quality and on-time delivery. Daily responsibilities include site visits, design reviews, quality checks, and mentoring junior designers to maintain BauHaus Spaces standards of creativity, functionality, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design expertise, including concept development, material selection, and detailed design.
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture fundamentals to optimize layouts and circulation.
- Experience creating and reviewing Construction Drawings, including technical details and coordination with execution teams.
- Hands-on experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination with suppliers and craftspeople.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Proven track record managing multiple interior design projects and stakeholders end to end.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to lead discussions and manage expectations.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make timely decisions on site.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead interior design role is highly preferred.
