About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to join an Australia-based SaaS product company building cloud and AI-powered solutions for the accounting and audit industry.

You will work on scalable microservices, API & event-driven integrations, AWS, CI/CD, observability, and application security, while contributing to architecture and technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration services using Java 17+ / Spring Boot 3 and Python 3.11+ / FastAPI.
• Build microservices and event-driven integrations using REST, gRPC, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS, and Webhooks.
• Develop and deploy applications on AWS, Docker & Kubernetes/EKS.
• Implement API security, OAuth2, JWT, OIDC, mTLS, and OWASP security practices.
• Work on CI/CD using Jenkins & Bitbucket.
• Implement observability using ELK, Zipkin, Micrometer, and Correlation IDs.
• Write unit, integration, and contract tests.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.

Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, MongoDB/DynamoDB, Terraform, SOAP/XML, SFTP, Apache Camel/Spring Integration, and AI/LLM API integrations.
