We are looking for a highly motivated and creative Senior Instructional Designer with hands-on experience in designing and developing technical learning content. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in instructional design principles and experience creating engaging learning solutions for technical subjects including programming languages and technology concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and internal teams to understand learning objectives and program requirements.
- Design, develop, and structure high-quality technical learning materials for digital and instructor-led delivery.
- Create learner-focused content including:
- Storyboards
- eLearning modules
- Course presentations
- Audio scripts
- Trainer guides
- Hands-on projects and assessments
- Course videos and supporting study materials
- Develop content for technical topics such as:
Java
HTML/CSS
Python
C++
Data Science
Programming fundamentals and other technical concepts
- Convert complex technical concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand learning experiences for basic to intermediate-level learners.
- Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create outcome-driven learning experiences.
- Review and improve existing learning materials to ensure quality, consistency, and learner engagement.
- Work in a fast-paced, agile environment and contribute innovative ideas for learning improvements and process enhancement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in core Instructional Design, with strong exposure to technical course development.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of technical domains including programming and technology concepts.
- Experience in designing Web-Based Training (WBT) and Instructor-Led Training (ILT) content.
- Strong experience in creating storyboards, scripts, projects, assessments, and learning assets.
- Sound understanding of learner-centric instructional frameworks and adult learning theories.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) and relevant learning development tools.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
