About the Role

Drip Capital is looking for outbound-driven Business Development Managers to expand our Channel Partner (CP) network in the US market.

This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and onboarding channel partners who can introduce financing opportunities to Drip. These include brokers, fintech lending platforms, financial intermediaries, and enterprise ecosystems with SMB client bases.

This is a high-impact, strategic + execution role requiring a combination of outbound partnership building, consulting mindset, and team leadership. You will be responsible not just for acquiring partners, but for designing, building, and scaling a high-performing partner network that drives consistent deal flow.

Key Responsibilities

1. Channel Partner Acquisition

Identify and onboard new Channel Partners through outbound outreach, industry research, and networking.

Target partner segments such as:

  • Revenue-based financing platforms
  • Factoring / ABL brokers
  • Lending marketplaces and fintech platforms
  • Trade finance intermediaries
  • CPAs/Fractional CFOs/Accounting companies
  • Logistic and Freight Forwarders

2. Partner Onboarding & Activation

  1. Onboard new channel partners and help them understand Drip's credit parameters and financing solutions.
  2. Work with partners to convert introductions into qualified deal submissions.

3. Team Management

  1. Manage & mentor SDRs who support outbound prospecting and meeting generation.
  2. Guide SDR outreach priorities and convert scheduled meetings into active channel partnerships.

4. Pipeline Ownership

  1. Build and manage a pipeline of partners capable of generating consistent deal flow.
  2. Track partner engagement and focus on converting first-time partners into repeat submitters.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or financial services sales with US markets or International clients.
  • Experience in outbound prospecting and partner acquisition.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling partnerships or channel ecosystems.
  • Experience in managing or mentoring teams.
  • Background in consulting / strategy roles

Background in one or more of the following preferred:

  • fintech or lending platforms
  • trade finance / supply chain finance
  • financial services partnerships
  • broker ecosystems or channel sales
