Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Partner-Deployed Resource)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage Linux and Solaris operating systems in production and development environments.
• Provide expert-level support on VMware, including provisioning, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Handle Dell Storage appliances including setup, configuration, health checks, and incident response.
• Perform daily infrastructure health checks, proactive monitoring, and reporting.
• Support and contribute to infrastructure migration initiatives from on-premise to cloud (preferred, not mandatory).
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and ensure high availability of infrastructure systems.
• Maintain documentation and follow change control processes.

Required Skill Set:

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Strong hands-on experience in Linux/Solaris system administration.
• Proven expertise in VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi).
• Working knowledge of Dell storage solutions and their integration with virtual environments.
• Good understanding of infrastructure monitoring tools and proactive maintenance.
• Experience with cloud migration (AWS, Azure, etc.) will be an added advantage.
