Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
• 5 years of experience in an IT support environment with technical experience in distributed technologies and systems development
• 2 years of infrastructure engineering experience working across multiple domains, platforms, or specialty areas
• 2 years of experience leading projects with or without direct reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Master s degree in computer science, network engineering, or related field
• 2 years of work experience managing cloud technologies such as GCP, Azure, OCI, or AWS
• 2 years of work experience managing Cisco ACI, VXLAN, or similar data center fabric technologies
• 4 years of experience designing and implementing dynamic routed networks using BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, or IS-IS
• 4 years of experience working on data center network technologies and related applications
• Experience integrating data center class firewalls into the network design
• Experience integrating data center class load balancers into the network design
• Experience integrating data center networks with hypervisors or containers, such as VMware ESX, KVM, or Kubernetes
• Experience managing networks using scripting or automation related tools
