Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Infrastructure / Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, networking, and security, with a strong focus on resiliency and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Lead cloud strategy, migration, and modernization initiatives
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation
- Define best practices for availability, performance, and disaster recovery
- Architect and optimize cloud networking (VPC/VNet design, hybrid connectivity, routing, load balancing)
- Establish robust cloud security architectures, including IAM, encryption, compliance, and governance
- Drive cost optimization initiatives (rightsizing, budgeting, FinOps practices)
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to align infrastructure with application needs
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance
- Evaluate and recommend emerging cloud technologies and tools
Requirements
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud experience preferred)
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, ARM Templates, CloudFormation
- Deep understanding of cloud networking concepts and hybrid architectures
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, governance, and compliance
- Experience designing for high availability, scalability, and resiliency
- Proven ability in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect / Azure Architect / GCP Architect)
- Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Experience in large-scale enterprise cloud transformations
