Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven IT Manager who will primarily lead and execute client-facing technology projects, including website development, maintenance, and revamping initiatives. The role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and project ownership, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality digital solutions to clients.
In addition to client work, the candidate will also oversee essential internal IT systems such as servers, cloud infrastructure, and collaboration tools to ensure smooth organizational operations.
Key Responsibilities
Client Project Management
- Lead end-to-end execution of client IT and digital projects, including:
- Website development (from scratch)
- Website maintenance and optimization
- Website revamping and performance enhancement
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of quality, performance, and user experience
- Provide technical consultation to clients on best practices, architecture, and technology choices
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring prioritization and efficiency
Technical Execution & Development
- Develop and maintain web applications, with a strong focus on PHP and related technologies
- Ensure websites and applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across client projects
Internal IT & Infrastructure Management
- Oversee and maintain internal IT infrastructure including servers (cloud/on-premise), networks, and systems
- Manage cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform) ensuring reliability and cost efficiency
- Administer Google Workspace (G Suite), including user access, security policies, and collaboration tools
- Ensure data security, backups, and disaster recovery processes are implemented and maintained
Team & Process Management
- Lead and mentor the IT team, ensuring efficient delivery across client projects
- Establish processes and best practices for project execution, documentation, and system management
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance client offerings
Key Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in IT management, with strong exposure to client-facing projects in a digital/agency environment
- Proven experience in managing website development, maintenance, and revamping projects
- Strong technical expertise in PHP and web technologies
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Working knowledge of server management, networking, and IT infrastructure
- Experience in administering Google Workspace (G Suite)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client projects and stakeholders
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
