Senior Information Security Engineer

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Security Information Engineer to strengthen our cloud and infrastructure security posture. The ideal candidate will be certified in Microsoft Azure Security (AZ-500) and have strong expertise in firewall configuration, WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM/SOAR, and DevSecOps practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud security solutions in compliance with best practices.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Implement and manage Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) for proactive threat detection.
• Deploy, configure, and manage SIEM/SOAR tools to ensure real-time monitoring, analysis, and automated incident response.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
• Define and enforce security policies, standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation of security events.
• Provide technical documentation, playbooks, and reports for audits and knowledge sharing.

Job Requirements:

Technical Proficiency:

7+ years of experience in Information Security, Cloud Security, or related fields.

Must hold Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) certification.

Hands-on experience with: o Firewall configuration and management o WAF (Web Application Firewall) o IDS/IPS solutions o SIEM/SOAR platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, etc.) o DevSecOps tools and practices

Strong knowledge of network security, authentication, encryption, and access management.

Proven experience in incident detection, response, and recovery.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, AZ - 500
