Job Description
Company Description
Deckster is India's most measured influencer marketing partner, focused on delivering tangible business outcomes rather than vanity metrics. We work with established brands and fast-growing startups to design influencer programs aligned with real goals—sell-through, category share, and long-term brand impact. Our client portfolio includes organizations like The Bear House, Kapiva, The Pant Project, Zomato, Blinkit, Rare Rabbit, The British Council, Policybazaar, Ather Energy, Bombay Shaving Company, Oziva, and more. With a data-driven approach and clear performance benchmarks, we build campaigns that consistently move the needle.
Role Description
The Senior Influencer Marketing Manager owns end-to-end influencer marketing strategy and execution across multiple brand accounts. You will identify and vet creators, negotiate partnerships, and drive campaign planning, briefing, and content approvals. You'll manage campaign performance, optimize live initiatives based on data, and deliver clear reporting and insights to clients. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams on creative concepts, ensuring brand-safe communication, managing budgets and timelines, and mentoring junior team members.
This is a high-ownership role. Our clients run always-on campaigns with live creators and moving deadlines, so we're looking for someone who takes full accountability for their accounts, closes loops without being chased, and communicates proactively when something needs a decision. You should be comfortable being the person clients and creators can rely on to keep things moving not someone tasks stall behind.
What Ownership Looks Like Here
- You treat your accounts as your own business—if a campaign is at risk, you flag it early and bring a solution, not just a problem.
- You're responsive and dependable within agreed working norms, and you plan coverage proactively so nothing critical goes dark when you're offline.
- You follow through end-to-end: briefs confirmed, creators aligned on timelines, approvals chased, execution owned, and clients kept informed at every step.
- You operate with high agency—you make sound calls independently, escalate the right things, and don't wait to be told what's next.
Qualifications
- Strong influencer marketing and social media campaign experience, including creator discovery, outreach, and relationship management.
- Proficiency in campaign strategy, performance analysis, and reporting, with the ability to link influencer activity to business outcomes.
- Experience in client-facing roles, including brief interpretation, proposal development, and presenting strategies and results.
- Skill in project and budget management, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality control across multiple campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear briefs and provide constructive feedback to creators.
- Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, YouTube, short-form video, etc.) and current influencer and content trends.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including mentoring team members and collaborating effectively in a remote environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with consumer brands or agencies in digital or performance marketing is highly beneficial.
Who Thrives Here
- People who are proactive, accountable, and reliable—who care about outcomes and take pride in being the person their team and clients can count on. In a remote setup, self-direction and clear communication matter more than hours logged; we measure people on ownership and results.
