Job description
Cvent's Enterprise Services team is seeking a Senior Identity Automation Engineer to drive our identity and access management (IAM) automation initiatives. This role combines deep technical expertise in identity systems with a strong focus on building scalable automation solutions to support our growing enterprise.
Core Responsibilities-
- Design and implement automation solutions for identity lifecycle management using Python and modern IAM tools
- Lead technical integration efforts during mergers and acquisitions, focusing on identity system consolidation
- Architect and maintain identity synchronization workflows across multiple platforms and directories
- Develop self-service tools and automated processes to streamline access management
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code for identity-related AWS resources
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and automate identity governance controls
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in identity automation
Required Qualifications-
- Strong expertise in Okta administration and API development
- Demonstrated experience with identity provider (IdP) integration and federation
- Advanced Python programming skills with a focus on automation
- Extensive experience with AWS services, particularly IAM, Directory Service, and related security services
- Track record of successfully managing identity integration during M&A activities
- Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and related authentication protocols
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
Preferred Qualifications
- TypeScript/JavaScript development experience
- Experience with additional identity providers (Azure AD)
- Relevant certifications (Okta, AWS)
- Experience with SCIM provisioning and automation
- Knowledge of and experience with privileged access management (PAM) solutions.
