Role Summary
We are seeking a
Senior IT Auditor to join Flutter's Internal Controls Team within our growing Shared Capability Centre in Hyderabad. This role forms part of our global
second-line of defence , providing independent oversight and strengthening governance across our technology landscape.
The Internal Controls function is a key Group-wide capability, led by the
Global Head of Internal Controls . In this position, you will work closely with the IT Controls Lead and Internal Controls IT Manager, partnering with
Technology, InfoSec, and business stakeholders across regions. You will gain exposure to global compliance frameworks and cross-functional collaboration, helping ensure our controls support both governance and business agility.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a
high-visibility global function that balances strong governance with enabling innovation and sustainable growth. You will help shape how effective IT controls are embedded within a fast-evolving, technology-driven organisation.
The role may require limited travel (up to 10%).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform design adequacy and operating effectiveness testing of assigned systems / ITGCs in accordance with agreed quality standards and timelines
- Identify control gaps and partner with stakeholders to implement practical, value-adding improvements
- Support the enhancement and implementation of IT General Computing Controls
- Deliver clear, well-structured documentation and testing artifacts
- Communicate findings in a constructive, solution-focused manner
- Monitor remediation plans and support the timely implementation of agreed actions
- Help ensure control improvements are effectively embedded into business process
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors as needed
- Partner with the IT Controls Lead, Internal Controls management, InfoSec and Technology leaders to continuously strengthen the control environment
- Build trusted relationships with peers and stakeholders across regions
TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BRING
Experience And Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of IT Audit or IT Security experience in enterprise environments
- Strong academic record with degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline
- Experience working with multinational or Shared Services environments is beneficial
- CISA , CISM , CISSP , or similar professional certifications are preferred (or willingness to pursue them)
Technical Knowledge
- Advanced understanding of IT General Computing Controls (ITGCs)
- Familiarity with IT and Information Security environments such as Windows Active Directory , Unix/Linux , and databases
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure), along with operational frameworks and security controls would be beneficial
- Ability to identify risks and provide practical solutions to a wide range of Internal Controls issues
