The Sr I O Engineering Cnsltnt (NetScaler Engineer) will design and automate NetScaler ADC deployments and configurations in cloud environments using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles. This role will leverage AI-driven tools for intelligent configuration validation, predictive scaling, and automated compliance checks to ensure secure and optimized delivery.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement tiered NetScaler architectures, including DMZ setups, SSL profiles, and high-availability (HA) pairs
  • Automate NetScaler VPX provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code templates for repeatable, scalable deployments
  • Implement predictive scaling and intelligent configuration validation using AI tools
  • Ensure compliance through automated checks and continuous monitoring
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years in network/application delivery engineering 5+ years hands-on with Citrix NetScaler / ADC (VPX/MPX/CPX) designing tiered architectures, DMZ, SSL/TLS offload & profiles, HA pairs, content switching, GSLB, AAA/SSO (SAML/OAuth), and AppFirewall (WAF)
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for automation
  • Solid cloud networking experience in Azure (preferred) and/or AWS/GCP
  • Knowledge of cloud networking principles and secure application delivery
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development and compliance automation
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation best practices
  • Proven solid expertise in NetScaler ADC configuration (tiered architectures, DMZ, SSL, HA)
  • Proven ability to automate NetScaler provisioning & configuration using Terraform (modules, workspaces, state mgmt, CI/CD) and Ansible (roles, playbooks, idempotent patterns)
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools in infra engineering
  • Proven solid grasp of observability & performance: TCP/HTTP/HDX flows, NITRO APIs, and analytics
  • Proven security-first mindset with hands-on implementation of network segmentation, zero trust principles, and compliance
  • Proven outstanding communication skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration across networking, security, platform/VDI, and application teams
  • Ability to operate in US-based hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Citrix certifications (CCA-N / CCP-N) and vendor/cloud credentials (e.g., HashiCorp Terraform Associate, Azure/AWS networking)
  • Hands-on with Citrix Gateway/HDX optimization for virtual workspace delivery familiarity with VDI environments
  • Proven history of technical leadership & mentoring (setting patterns/standards, knowledge sharing, coaching engineers)
