Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Senior HVAC Designer with strong expertise in designing efficient HVAC systems, including chilled water systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate designs, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings (layouts, schematics, ducting & piping)
- Perform chilled water system design and calculations
- Prepare heat load calculations and equipment selection
- Coordinate with MEP teams, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Review drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
- Support project execution with design clarifications and updates
- Prepare BOQs and technical documentation
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Hands-on experience in HVAC system design
- Expertise in chilled water systems
- Knowledge of heat load calculations and system sizing
- Understanding of ducting, piping layouts, and ventilation design
- Familiarity with industry standards (ASHRAE preferred)
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with tools like HAP / Revit MEP
- Experience in commercial / industrial HVAC projects
- Knowledge of VRF systems and ventilation design
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
- Based in Chennai or willing to relocate
