We are seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing HVAC systems for various applications, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
- Perform load calculations and equipment selection to ensure efficient system performance.
- Prepare and review technical drawings and specifications for HVAC systems.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate HVAC systems into building designs.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing systems and provide recommendations for upgrades or replacements.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations related to HVAC design.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for project proposals and presentations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in HVAC system design and implementation.
- Proficient in HVAC design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HAP (Hourly Analysis Program).
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles.
- Familiarity with local building codes and standards related to HVAC.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
