Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior HR person to join our Kochi office on a Contract-to-Hire basis. The HR will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning HR strategy with organizational objectives while driving people-centric solutions across all levels. This role requires someone who can balance strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day operational excellence and compliance management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Business Alignment
- Partner with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and develop aligned HR strategies
- Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession management
- Support business transformation initiatives by offering people-focused solutions
- Act as a culture champion, translating company values into daily operational behaviors
- Advise on compensation, benefits, and talent retention strategies
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for assigned business units and leadership teams
- Advise managers on conflict resolution, performance management, and employee development
- Address employee grievances, disputes, and sensitive HR matters with discretion and professionalism
- Coach managers on effective leadership, feedback delivery, and team development
- Support performance improvement plans and employee transitions
Compliance, Policy & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to Indian labor laws (POSH Act, ESI, PF, attendance policies, etc.)
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies on leave, conduct, remote work, and other areas
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
- Conduct investigations on workplace issues and recommend corrective actions
- Identify and mitigate people-related risks
Analytics & Insights
- Track and report on HR metrics (attrition, engagement, time-to-fill, retention rates)
- Analyze trends in employee data to recommend process improvements
- Create dashboards and reports for leadership on organizational health

- Familiarity with recruitment processes and talent management best practices

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- CIPD, SHRM certification, or equivalent HR qualification is preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 8+ years in HR Business Partner, HR Operations, or Talent Management role
- Experience in supporting multi-unit or cross-functional business environments
- Exposure to recruitment, employee relations, and compliance management
- Familiarity with GCC (Global Capability Center) or offshore operations is a plus
