The Senior Human Resources Manager works closely with country HR teams and business leaders to ensure effective implementation of HR policies, processes, and people strategies across Singapore, Philippines, and Oceania. The role also supports pre-opening projects by establishing HR processes, driving recruitment timelines, coordinating workforce mobilization, and ensuring teams are fully prepared for opening.
The role partners with country HR teams to standardize processes, strengthen HR governance, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies and local employment regulations.
Key responsibilities:
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure HR policies, processes, and employment practices comply with local regulations and company standards.
- Manage HR audits, employee records, reporting, and governance requirements.
- Drive HR process improvements and operational consistency across the region.
Workforce Planning & Business Support
- Support manpower planning, headcount management, and organizational changes.
- Partner with operations leaders on workforce needs, expansions, and pre-opening projects.
- Monitor workforce metrics and recommend actions to improve productivity and staffing efficiency.
Talent Acquisition
- Lead operational hiring across Singapore, Philippines, and Oceania, including pre-openings and critical vacancies.
- Partner with hiring managers to deliver timely and quality recruitment outcomes.
- Track recruitment performance, manpower gaps, and hiring effectiveness.
Employee Relations & Performance
- Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary cases, grievances, investigations, and performance issues.
- Support performance management processes and coach managers on employee matters.
- Ensure HR practices remain compliant with local labor requirements.
Compensation, Benefits & Reporting
- Support salary reviews, promotions, benefits administration, and HR budgeting activities.
- Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics for business decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and employee experience.
Employee Engagement
- Deliver employee engagement, wellness, recognition, and retention initiatives.
- Support employee communications, events, and culture-building activities across the region.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR generalist and business partnering experience with regional exposure.
- Experience supporting business expansions, pre-openings, and large-scale operational hiring is highly preferred.
- Proven experience supporting multi-country operations, preferably within hospitality, travel, retail, F&B, or other fast-paced service industries.
- Strong experience in workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, HR operations, and compliance.
- Experience establishing or improving HR policies, processes, and governance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on, commercially minded, and able to balance strategic and operational HR responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
