What you'll do:

- Own end-to-end HR operations for the Hyderabad branch, including onboarding, exits, and records

- Run monthly payroll cycles, including attendance, leave, incentives, hikes, and final settlements.

- Manage PF, professional tax (PT), ESI, and TDS compliance, with timely filings and returns

- Keep payroll aligned with current Indian government tax slabs and statutory deductions.

- Handle employee relations: disciplinary cases, grievances, performance improvement plans, and exits

- Lead the internal recruitment function for branch and US/Canada-facing roles

- Manage and develop a small HR and payroll team, setting priorities, reviews, and workloads

- Maintain HR policies (attendance, leave, late login, probation, paid holidays) and communicate them clearly.

- Work with the CEO on compensation structure, hike cycles, and workforce planning.

- Produce monthly HR and headcount reports for leadership

- Coordinate with the US and Canada teams on cross-border hiring, employment paperwork, and policy alignment

What you'll bring:

- 8+ years in HR, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role

- Experience in a US staffing company, managing offshore or India-based teams and US-facing recruiting

- End-to-end payroll experience in India, including PF, PT, ESI, TDS, and Form 16

- Hands-on experience with HRMS and payroll tools such as greytHR, Keka HR, or similar platforms

- Working knowledge of current Indian labour laws, statutory deductions, and tax slabs

- Strong people leadership skills, including running a team and managing performance

- Strong Excel and reporting skills

Nice to have:

- Experience running internal recruitment for staffing or BPO companies

- Experience with employee grievance and employee relations in multi-location teams

- Certification such as SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, or a relevant HR qualification

- Provident Fund (PF)
