Job Description

Looking for Senior Manager - HRBP for Bangalore

Location - Jakkur, Yehalanka

Key Role & Responsibility -

Business Partnering

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business goals and foster a positive work environment
  • Participate in business review/planning meetings to understand HR needs and issues
  • Partner with business leaders to identify HR needs, anticipate future requirements and provide strategic HR advice and solutions
  • Lead the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace
  • Identify competency gaps and collaborate with L&D for interventions to address them
  • Participate in hiring decisions for key roles and need based compensation review discussions
  • Support organizational change and business transformation initiatives as needed

Succession Planning

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key roles, critical talent pools and high potentials
  • Lead talent review discussions, internal mobility and succession planning
  • Collaborate with managers and department heads to assess performance, potential, and readiness for leadership roles
  • Provide coaching and mentoring support to emerging and existing leaders

Talent Management

  • Oversee the employee performance management process, driving a culture of high performance
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical roles
  • Monitor and evaluate performance management processes to ensure fairness, consistency, and effectiveness.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers in setting performance expectations, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations
  • Implement retention strategies to ensure key talent is engaged and retained
  • Develop action plans to address engagement drivers and enhance employee experience
  • Implement recognition and reward programs to celebrate achievements and reinforce desired behaviors

Employee relations

  • Oversee the resolution of complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and adherence to legal requirements
  • Provide guidance and support to managers in resolving employee conflicts and disputes
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances, ensuring fair and impartial resolution
  • Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance across all HR activities
  • Monitor HR metrics and trends to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, and make recommendations for improvement

Team Leadership

  • Lead, manage and build a high performing team
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance team skills
  • Provide leadership and guidance to HR Business Partners, ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Behavioural competencies

  • Proven 17 to 22 + years experience in HRBP roles
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that support business goals
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
