Job Description

Role Overview

The main responsibility of this role is to drive student placements aggressively by connecting with companies, agencies, startups, corporates, brands, and HR professionals.

This person will act as a bridge between ASDM students and the industry. The role requires strong communication skills, daily company outreach, recruiter follow-ups, interview coordination, student preparation, and corporate relationship building.

This is not a basic HR role. We are looking for someone who can actively generate placement opportunities and help ASDM students get placed in reputed companies and big brands.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Placement Management

The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete student placement process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understand student profiles, skills, career goals, and job preferences.
  • Create and maintain updated student placement databases.
  • Shortlist students as per company requirements.
  • Coordinate interviews between students and companies.
  • Follow up with students and recruiters after interviews.
  • Track student selection, rejection, feedback, and joining status.
  • Ensure maximum eligible students are placed successfully.
  • Maintain monthly placement reports for management.
2. Corporate Relations & Company Outreach

This is the most important part of the role.

The candidate must actively build relationships with companies for placement opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Connect with digital marketing agencies, IT companies, startups, e-commerce brands, corporates, media houses, real estate companies, education companies, and other relevant businesses.
  • Approach HR managers, founders, agency owners, recruiters, and decision-makers.
  • Generate new placement tie-ups every month.
  • Build long-term relationships with companies for regular hiring.
  • Maintain a strong database of hiring partners.
  • Schedule meetings, calls, and visits with companies.
  • Represent ASDM professionally in front of corporate partners.
  • Invite companies for campus placement drives and hiring sessions.
3. Aggressive Placement Opportunity Generation

We are looking for a result-oriented person who can work with targets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generate fresh job openings every week.
  • Follow up aggressively with recruiters and companies.
  • Convert company leads into active placement partners.
  • Create placement opportunities for students across different roles such as:
  • Digital Marketing Executive
  • SEO Executive
  • Social Media Executive
  • Performance Marketing Executive
  • Content Executive
  • Google Ads Executive
  • Meta Ads Executive
  • E-commerce Executive
  • Marketing Executive
  • Business Development Executive
  • Creative/Content roles
  • Ensure students get opportunities in reputed agencies, startups, brands, and corporates.
4. Placement Drive & Interview Coordination

The candidate will manage placement activities from start to finish.

Responsibilities include:

  • Organize campus placement drives.
  • Coordinate walk-in interviews, online interviews, and company visits.
  • Share student resumes and portfolios with companies.
  • Schedule interviews and communicate details clearly.
  • Coordinate with trainers for student readiness.
  • Collect feedback from companies after interviews.
  • Help students improve based on recruiter feedback.
  • Ensure smooth communication between students and companies.
5. Student Career Support

The candidate should guide students professionally for better placement outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Help students improve resumes and LinkedIn profiles.
  • Guide students about interview preparation.
  • Conduct basic HR interview preparation sessions.
  • Help students understand job roles, salary expectations, and workplace behavior.
  • Motivate students to attend interviews seriously.
  • Track students who are placement-ready and those who need improvement.
  • Coordinate with trainers to improve weaker students.
6. Industry Networking

The candidate must actively create strong visibility for ASDM in the hiring market.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build relationships with HR professionals and business owners.
  • Attend networking events, HR meets, business events, and industry events when required.
  • Create strong placement partnerships with local and national companies.
  • Maintain professional communication with all hiring partners.
  • Keep track of market hiring trends in digital marketing and related fields.
Required Skills

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
  • Strong corporate networking ability.
  • Good convincing and follow-up skills.
  • Aggressive approach toward placement targets.
  • Ability to connect with companies and generate hiring opportunities.
  • Good understanding of recruitment and HR process.
  • Professional email writing and calling skills.
  • Strong coordination and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage students, companies, and internal teams.
  • Confidence to represent ASDM in front of corporate partners.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets / CRM tools.

  • Training & Placement Officer
  • Business Development Executive with HR/recruitment exposure
  • Experience in education, edtech, training institute, college placement, recruitment agency, or corporate hiring will be preferred.

The candidate will be expected to work with clear monthly goals.
