We are looking for a qualified and experienced HR Manager to join our team and support our human resources department. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, such as onboarding, training, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and legal compliance. You will also be involved in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business goals and vision.
As an HR Manager, you will be the go-to person for all employee-related issues and queries. You will foster a positive and productive work environment where everyone works to achieve our mission and objectives. You will also promote our corporate values and culture and ensure that they are reflected in our policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you should have a solid background in human resources management, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. You should also have a strong knowledge of US labor laws and regulations, HR best practices, and industry trends. You should be able to work effectively with different levels of management and employees, and handle complex and sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
Work Schedule: Night shift (8 to 4PM EST)
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct the human resources activities and functions of the organization
- Design and implement orientation and onboarding programs for new hires
- Develop and administer compensation and benefits plans, including salary structures, incentive schemes, health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks
- Coordinate and oversee performance management and appraisal systems, and provide feedback and coaching to employees and managers
- Identify training and development needs and organize and facilitate learning and development programs and initiatives
- Handle employee relations issues, such as grievances, complaints, conflicts, and disciplinary actions, and ensure fair and consistent resolution
- Ensure compliance with all US federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to human resources, such as labor standards, equal employment opportunity, diversity and inclusion, and health and safety
- Maintain and update employee records and databases, and prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics
- Communicate and implement HR policies and procedures, and ensure that they are understood and followed by all employees
- Collaborate with senior management and other departments to align HR objectives and initiatives with the overall business strategy and vision
- Evaluate and improve HR processes and systems, and recommend and implement changes and enhancements
- Stay updated on the latest HR trends and best practices, and participate in professional networks and events
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an HR Manager or a similar senior-level HR role for an information technology company
- Professional certification in human resources, such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR, is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and legal aspects, such as labor laws, employment standards, and compliance requirements
- Proficient in MS Office and HR software, such as Workday, BambooHR, or ADP
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with different audiences and stakeholders
- Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks and projects
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and adapt to changing needs and demands
