Job Description – Manager / Assistant Manager – HR Operations & Compliance

We are looking for an experienced HR professional to manage end-to-end HR Operations, Compliance, Employee Relations, and HR Governance while driving operational excellence and process improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, employee records, exits, and Full & Final Settlements.
• Oversee payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, HR documentation, and statutory records.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, POSH regulations, Shops & Establishments Acts, and other statutory requirements.
• Handle employee relations, grievance management, disciplinary matters, misconduct investigations, and performance-related issues.
• Manage HRIS, HR analytics, MIS reporting, dashboards, and workforce data management.
• Drive HR process automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and interactions with labour authorities and statutory bodies.
• Partner with business leaders to improve employee experience and align HR operations with business objectives.
• Develop and implement HR policies, governance frameworks, and risk mitigation measures.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 8–12 years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Relations, Compliance, and HR Governance.
• Strong understanding of labour laws, statutory compliance, and POSH regulations.
• Hands-on experience with HRMS/HRIS platforms, payroll coordination, and HR analytics.
• Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in driving process excellence, automation, and HR transformation initiatives.
