Senior HRIS Consultant - Darwin Box

Work Location: Remote working

Employment type: Fixed term contract (6months)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior HRIS Professional to lead the design, development, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of our HR technology landscape, with a strong focus on the Darwin platform. This role will serve as the primary functional expert for Darwin HRIS, partnering with HR, IT, Finance, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that enhance employee experience, improve operational efficiency, and ensure data integrity and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

HRIS Management & Optimization

  • Oversee configuration, upgrades, enhancements, and day-to-day administration of the HRIS platform.
  • Act as the primary Functional Consultant for the Darwin HR platform, including system configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Lead HR system implementation projects and integrations with payroll, timekeeping, benefits, ATS, identity management, and other enterprise systems.
  • Evaluate business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations.
  • Manage system releases, upgrades, patches, and enhancement requests while minimizing business disruption.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Darwin modules and related HR technologies.

Darwin Functional Consulting

  • Configure and maintain Darwin modules including Core HR, Employee Lifecycle Management, Benefits Administration, Compensation, Performance Management, Talent Management, and Employee Self-Service.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and workshops with stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommend best-practice solutions.
  • Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, process flows, test scripts, and user documentation.
  • Support data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and system cutover activities during implementations and upgrades.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), identify defects, coordinate resolutions, and ensure successful deployment.
  • Troubleshoot complex functional issues and collaborate with technical teams and vendors for timely resolution.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and improved user experience within the Darwin ecosystem.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and deliver dashboards, KPIs, and ad-hoc reports for HR and business leaders.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all HRIS modules and reporting structures.
  • Leverage workforce analytics to support talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, and compliance reporting.
  • Create and maintain reporting frameworks to support strategic decision-making.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors to align system capabilities with business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business users and technology teams for HR system initiatives.
  • Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to HR team members and end users.
  • Maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledge articles, and user guides.

Compliance & Data Integrity

  • Ensure HRIS compliance with applicable data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, and local regulations) and internal security standards.
  • Conduct regular audits, data quality reviews, and system health checks to maintain data integrity.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate HR system documentation and reporting.
  • Establish governance processes and controls for HR data management and security.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in HRIS administration, HR technology consulting, or HR systems implementation.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Darwin HRIS or similar cloud-based HR platforms.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits, and offboarding.
  • Experience managing HRIS integrations, system implementations, and enhancement projects.

Required Skills:

  • Experience as a Darwin Functional Consultant or implementation specialist.
  • Experience with HR technology implementations, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of API-based integrations and HR data architecture.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • HRIS, HR technology, or project management certifications are an advantage.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-country HR environment is preferred.
