More about the role

The Talent & Learning Specialist( Data Analyst) will enable data-driven decision-making across our Integrated Talent Team by transforming HR data into actionable insights for the Integrated Talent team, HR Business Partners, and key stakeholders. This role focuses on building analytical assetsincluding reports, visualizations, dashboards, and predictive modelsthat extract meaningful business intelligence from multiple data sources to support strategic talent decisions

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Data Management & Infrastructure
    • Identify and integrate valuable HR data sources, automating collection processes where possible
    • Connect to multiple systems (Workday, vendor platforms, external sources) to consolidate structured and unstructured data
    • Perform data preprocessing, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Analysis & Insights
    • Analyze large datasets across Talent, Learning, and Skills domains to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
    • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for HR leadership
    • Leverage AI-enabled tools (e.g., TechWolf for skills intelligence) and existing Workday models to generate insights
    • Build or enhance predictive models to forecast talent trends and support workforce planning
  • Reporting & Visualization
    • Design and maintain HR dashboards and reports using Power BI and Workday Analytics
    • Create compelling data visualizations and presents findings to stakeholders with clarity and business context
  • Collaboration
    • Partner closely with Talent, Learning, HR Systems, and Reporting & Analytics teams
    • Translate business problems into data-driven solutions through active listening and stakeholder engagement
    • Support ad-hoc analytical requests and special projects as needed
Critical Experiences And Skills

  • Experience
    • 2-4 years of proven experience as an HR Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role
    • Demonstrated experience creating and presenting HR dashboards(Excel , Power BI etc)
    • Hands-on experience extracting and mining data from HRMS platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, DarwinBox, Zoho People, Visier, or equivalent systems)
  • Technical Skills
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , Power BI and dashboard creation
    • Experience working with multiple data sources and performing data integration
  • Analytical Capabilities
    • Strong mathematical aptitude and statistical reasoning skills
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities with demonstrated critical thinking
    • Ability to identify patterns, trends, and root causes from complex datasets

  • Communication & Soft Skills
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong presentation abilities with experience communicating insights to senior leaders
    • Active listening skills with ability to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into analytical solutions
    • Collaborative approach with ability to work cross-functionally
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Familiarity with Workday HCM and its reporting capabilities
    • Basic understanding of AI applications in HR (Generative AI, Agentic AI)
    • Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics methods
    • Experience with programming languages (Python, R) or SQL
    • Exposure to skills intelligence platforms or talent marketplace technologies
  • Education
    • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related quantitative field
    • Preferred: Master's degree in Data Science, HR Analytics, Business Analytics, or equivalent
