Senior HR - Compliance and Operations - BFSI

We're currently hiring for one of our BFSI Clients.

Position: Sr. HR – Compliance & Operations

Experience: 6–8 years

Industry: NBFC / BFSI

Role Overview:

Responsible for HR statutory compliance, payroll governance, HR analytics, MIS, and HR financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, data accuracy, and effective workforce cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage statutory compliance covering PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, CLRA, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishment, POSH and other applicable labour laws.
• Track labour law amendments, Labour Codes, state-specific regulations and assess business impact; drive timely implementation with HR, Legal, Finance and business teams.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, statutory deductions, reconciliations, accounting and timely remittances.
• Partner with Finance on HR accounting, employee benefits, provisions, accruals, bonus, gratuity, leave encashment and incentives.
• Prepare Budget vs. Actual analysis for payroll, benefits, statutory costs and other HR expenses.
• Develop and maintain HR MIS, dashboards and analytics to support management decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Lead internal/external compliance audits, track observations and ensure timely closure.
• Identify compliance risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Eligibility & Skills:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, HR, Business Administration, Management, Data Analytics or related discipline.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in HR Operations, HR Compliance, HR Analytics, HRIS or HR Finance, preferably in NBFC/BFSI.
• Hands-on experience with Darwinbox and Adrenalin HRMS.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and HR dashboard/MIS creation.
• Strong knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of actuarial valuation and employee benefit accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills with attention to detail.
