General Information:
In the area of Vehicle Motion and Zonal Controller business Microprocessor and High Performance software technologies are entering the market . To enable SAG to act as competent supplier, the need for knowledge and Mass production experience about the core technologies like Service Oriented Architecture, POSIX Based Operating Systems and Hypervisor technologies are essential which are targeted by this role.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Define new software architectures based on AUTOSAR Adaptive and alternatives, including evaluation of suitable runtime, communication (Intra and Inter System on Chips) and deployment concepts.
- Development of High-Performance Computing software solutions of middleware integration for automotive applications, enabling cross-domain service interaction and deployment on heterogeneous compute platforms.
- Estimation of technology trends in electronic controls portfolio cross products, including SDV middleware, SOA frameworks, and platform evolution across domains such as e-mobility, ADAS and IVI.
- Contribute to proof of concept including hands-on integration on target environments (e.g., Linux-based POSIX, QNX, RedHat or alternative systems) and performance validation.
- Elaboration of technical feasibility and presenting to expert communities as well to customers, including architecture proposals, PoC results, and integration concepts for cross-domain SDV use cases.
Your Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant field (computer science, electronics and telecommunication, informatics), master's degree desired.
- More than 4 years experience in Automotive Software technology and experience in international Software projects with global OEM's, ideally including projects touching ADAS and/or IVI environments and their interfaces to vehicle control functions.
- Strong knowledge of C++ features and best practices; experience with Rust is a plus, especially for performance- and safety-oriented systems components.
- Expectation is to cover all expertise necessary to define and drive SW/ SYS Architecture for High Performance compute with experience across full development cycle for Mass production projects. Should have handled a Technical Lead role with expertise in the following core technologies:
- POSIX Based Operating Systems, memory management, multithreading, and performance optimization.
- Hypervisors for µP,
- Containerization techniques
- Connection to the Cloud and OTA Master Concepts
- AUTOSAR Adaptive and Middleware
- Service Oriented Architecture
- Open Source Software
- Experience with QNX, Red Hat Linux is an added advantage
- Experience with NXP S32x family, Qualcomm, Nvidia processors is an added advantage
- Knowledge of SOA principles and their application in automotive systems, including service lifecycle management and cross-domain service interfaces.
- Awareness of safety-critical systems and safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
