Hillwoods Academy, established in 1982 in Preet Vihar, Delhi, is affiliated with the C.B.S.E. and prepares students for the All India Senior Secondary School Examination. The academy was founded by a visionary group of educationists dedicated to creating a unique educational system fostering selflessness, independence, and helpfulness in students. Over the years, it has grown significantly, now serving over 2,550 students across a three-acre campus. With its roots firmly established in Delhi, Hillwoods Academy has expanded its educational network to other cities, providing quality education.

Job Profile

1. Academic Leadership

Assist the Principal in planning, implementing, and monitoring academic programmes

Ensure CBSE/ICSE/State Board compliance (curriculum, assessment, NEP 2020)

Supervise lesson planning, syllabus completion, and academic calendars

Monitor student performance and guide remedial/enrichment programmes

Promote innovative teaching practices and use of ICT/AI tools in classrooms

2. Administrative Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day school operations in the absence of the Principal

Prepare timetables, teacher allotments, and substitution plans

Coordinate examinations, result analysis, and records

Oversee admissions, withdrawals, and student documentation

Ensure adherence to Delhi Directorate of Education (DoE) norms (for govt/aided schools)

3. Staff Management & Development

Supervise and mentor teaching and non-teaching staff

Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback

Organise teacher training, workshops, and capacity-building sessions

Support staff in implementing CBSE circulars and guidelines

4. Student Discipline & Welfare

Maintain discipline and school culture

Address student grievances, counselling needs, and behaviour issues

Ensure implementation of child protection policies and POSCO compliance

Promote inclusive education and student well-being

5. Parent & Community Relations

Communicate with parents during PTMs and grievance redressal

Support school outreach programmes, events, and community initiatives

Handle sensitive parent issues in coordination with the Principal

6. Co-Curricular & School Events

Plan and oversee assemblies, celebrations, competitions, and annual functions

Encourage sports, clubs, and life-skills programmes

Support implementation of experiential learning and projects

7. Compliance, Safety & Quality Assurance

Ensure school safety protocols, disaster management drills

Maintain records for inspections and audits

Support accreditation and quality benchmarks

Implement digital records and ERP systems

8. Desired Qualifications & Skills

Postgraduate degree + B.Ed (mandatory)

812 years teaching/academic coordination experience

Strong knowledge of CBSE/ICSE policies & NEP 2020

Leadership, communication, conflict resolution skills

Proficiency in school ERP, MS Office, Google Workspace
