Job Description
The Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for tasks related to hardware development, electronics hardware design, circuit design, and hardware architecture on a day-to-day basis.
- Demonstrated ability in high-speed digital electronic design, mixed signal design, prototyping and debugging Create/complete block diagrams, schematics, PCB layout (up to 8 layers), component selection, worst case circuit analysis, testing, and design verification
- Proficiency in CAD tools for PCB design
- Working knowledge of EMC
- Knowledge of Hardware Architecture
- In-depth knowledge of Microcontroller/Microprocessor based designs and debugging the same
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to triage and resolve complex hardware issues, working seamlessly with other engineers on problem investigation
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware products to ensure compliance with specifications, requirements, and quality standards
- Thorough documentation and revision control practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in embedded system hardware design
- Experience in medical devices is a plus
