Qspectra Technologies is a deeptech company focused on next-generation sensing, Silicon Photonics, Electro-Optics, and Semiconductor systems for applications across Automotive, Defense, Robotics, Autonomous Systems, and Industrial platforms. Qspectra works across the complete technology stack including optics, photonics, embedded electronics, FPGA systems, signal processing, semiconductor integration, and AI-enabled sensing architectures to build scalable and high-performance intelligent sensing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-speed mixed-signal hardware systems using FPGA and microcontrollers
- Interface high-speed ADC/DAC devices with FPGA platforms
- Design board-level power architectures including SMPS, Buck, Boost, LDO, and linear regulators
- Perform schematic design, component selection, simulation, and hardware validation
- Conduct board bring-up, debugging, signal integrity validation, and system testing
- Work with communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet PHY, LVDS, DDR, SerDes, etc.
- Support EMI/EMC-compliant hardware development and design reviews
- Collaborate with embedded, firmware, optics, RF, and system engineering teams
- Support prototype-to-production hardware development lifecycle
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in hardware and multilayer PCB design
- Strong expertise in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design
- Hands-on experience with FPGA-based systems and high-speed electronics
- Experience interfacing high-speed ADCs, DACs, memory, and sensor front-end systems
- Proficiency with LTSpice/PSpice, OrCAD, Altium Designer, or equivalent EDA tools
- Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, grounding, and EMI/EMC design practices
- Experience in board bring-up, debugging, validation, and production support
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and power analyzers
- Ability to independently execute complex hardware development tasks
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in LiDAR, Electro-Optics, Silicon Photonics, RF, Automotive, Robotics, Aerospace, or Defense systems
- Familiarity with ADC/TDC architectures, APD/SPAD/TIA front-end electronics, and timing-sensitive systems
- Understanding of high-speed interfaces such as LVDS, DDR, SerDes, MIPI, PCIe, or Gigabit Ethernet
- Exposure to FPGA toolchains such as Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus
- Experience with high-speed multilayer PCB stack-up design and thermal considerations
- Understanding of safety, reliability, and environmental qualification standards for industrial or defense applications
