Role Description
This role is ideal for a design professional with a strong portfolio, a deep understanding of Adobe Illustrator, and a passion for producing high-quality vector art and graphics. As a senior member of the design team, you will be expected to lead projects, mentor junior designers, and drive creative excellence across all design outputs.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of complex design projects from concept to final execution ensuring adherence to customer standards and specifications.
- Conceptualize, plan, and produce a wide range of illustrative and graphic content, including multimedia designs and typesetting.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to gather requirements, define creative direction, and deliver impactful visual solutions.
- Lead and manage production schedules and timelines for design deliverables.
- Guide and oversee the work of junior designers or production assistants, offering constructive feedback and creative direction.
- Ensure Designs meet the Print and Production Standards.
- Maintain consistency in brand aesthetics across platforms.
- Stay updated with current industry trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or a related field.
- 3–4+ years of professional experience as a Graphic/Illustration Designer.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (Working knowledge of Photoshop is an added advantage)
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality design work across a variety of formats.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, colour theory, layout, typography, and branding.
- Excellent understanding of the printing process and the requirements
- Strong time-management, project coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
