AI Engineer – GenAI / Agentic AI Engineer

Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad

Experience: 5+ years, with strong hands-on experience in GenAI/AI engineering

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop and deploy enterprise-grade GenAI and Agentic AI applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience across the full AI lifecycle, from solution design and model integration to deployment, infrastructure, monitoring and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop production-grade LLM, RAG and Agentic AI applications.
• Work with OpenAI, Gemini and other LLM platforms.
• Build RAG pipelines using LangChain, LangGraph, vector search and related technologies.
• Design multi-agent workflows, tool calling and multi-step workflow execution.
• Develop AI applications with MCP and agent orchestration frameworks.
• Implement prompt engineering, model evaluation and fine-tuning approaches.
• Build scalable AI services and APIs using Python.
• Deploy and operate AI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Implement MLOps, AI observability, monitoring, evaluation and governance.
• Troubleshoot production AI systems and improve reliability, performance and cost.
• Work with BigQuery, SQL and PySpark for data handling and analysis.
• Collaborate with data, engineering and business teams to translate use cases into production AI solutions.
  

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of overall experience with strong hands-on AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in LLMs, particularly OpenAI / Gemini.
• Hands-on experience with RAG, vector search, LangChain and LangGraph.
• Experience building Agentic AI / multi-agent applications.
• Strong understanding of agent orchestration, tool calling and multi-step workflows.
• Experience with MCP.
• Advanced Python and SQL.
• BigQuery and PySpark.
• Experience deploying AI applications into production.
• Practical MLOps experience including deployment, monitoring, evaluation and observability.
• Experience owning AI solutions end-to-end, including infrastructure and production support.
