The Role
As Functional Consultant in Product Publication, you support the Product Manager, Product lead and operation teams in improving how product data is published across the vidaXL ecosystem. You help analyse current publication flows, support configuration and mapping activities, and contribute to improving consistency and quality.
This is a learning-oriented role with exposure to complex e-commerce publication challenges and a clear growth path into senior functional roles.
What You'll Do
- Advise the Product Manager and teams on functional design choices within the product publication domain
- Support the improvement of end-to-end product publication flows across the ecosystem
- Provide functional guidance on the use of tools such as ProductsUp and Salsify
- Help optimize how ProductsUp is consumed within the wider system landscape
- Identify issues, inefficiencies, and inconsistencies in current publication setups
- Support functional teams in mapping and configuring publication features correctly
- Review proposed solutions and provide clear, pragmatic recommendations
- Act as a functional sparring partner for Product Owners, Developers, and Incident Handlers
- Provide Hands-up support for the Feed specialist
What You Bring
- Experience in a functional, consulting, or product support role
- Interest in e-commerce, product data, and system integrations
- Basic understanding of product data, feeds, or publication processes
- Structured and detail-oriented way of working
- Willingness to learn and grow in a complex environment
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
Nice to Have
- Exposure to e-commerce platforms or marketplaces
- Exposure to ProductsUP, Salsify, Channable or similar tools
- Experience with product data or feed management tools
- Interest in automation or AI-driven features
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
