Role Purpose
To design, implement, and support SAP Production Planning (PP) solutions across Saint-Gobain business entities. The role requires managing
parallel project implementations and application support (AMS) while ensuring stable operations, process standardization, and continuous improvement in manufacturing planning processes.
Key Accountabilities
- 1. SAP PP Functional Delivery
- Configure and support SAP PP processes including:
- Demand Management
- MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
- Production / Process Orders
- Capacity Planning
- Shop Floor Control
- Ensure alignment with standards.
- Drive harmonization and optimization of manufacturing processes across business units.
- 2. Project Execution & Rollouts
- Participate in end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, and enhancements.
- Deliver functional specifications (FS), support technical design, and validate developments.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones with quality compliance.
- Work across multiple business entities and geographies.
- 3. Application Support (AMS)
- Provide L2/L3 support with adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
- Handle incidents, service requests, and problem management.
- Ensure resolution within defined timelines and minimal business disruption.
- Manage workload effectively across parallel projects and support streams.
- 4. Technical & Debugging Capability
- Utilize ABAP knowledge to:
- Debug SAP programs and identify root causes
- Analyze enhancements (user exits, BAdIs, reports)
- Work collaboratively with ABAP teams for custom development and performance improvements.
- 5. Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Ensure seamless integration between:
- PP and MM (Material Management)
- PP and SD (Sales & Distribution)
- Collaborate with business, IT teams, and external partners.
- 6. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Ensure data accuracy in BOM, Routing, Work Centers, and master data.
- Support digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing.

- Project delivery within timeline and budget

- Exposure to S/4HANA environment (preferred)

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering / IT / Supply Chain
- SAP PP Certification (preferred)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years in SAP PP
- Experience in manufacturing industry environments
- Proven track record of handling parallel projects and support engagements
- Exposure to multi-entity / global operations is highly desirable
