Role Description The Senior Functional Consultant role at Extension Technologies is a full-time, on-site position based in Faridabad. In this role, you will work closely with clients to understand their business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for technology solutions. You will conduct workshops, analyze current workflows, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements aligned with best practices and organizational goals. On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate solution configuration, support testing and user acceptance, and provide guidance during deployment and post-go-live stabilization. The role also involves preparing documentation, training end users, and acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on business and system optimization.
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills to assess business requirements, interpret data, and design efficient functional solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, lead workshops, and present complex ideas clearly.
  • Proven experience in business process analysis, mapping, and optimization across multiple functional areas.
  • Consulting experience, including stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and solution recommendation.
  • Good understanding of finance-related processes (e.g., budgeting, accounting flows, reporting) and their alignment with business systems.
  • Experience working as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst in technology or ERP/enterprise solutions environments.
  • Ability to bridge business and technical teams, with familiarity in SDLC, configuration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience in client-facing roles, with a customer-focused attitude and the ability to build long-term professional relationships.
