We are expanding our functional team and require two Senior Supply Chain Management (SCM) Consultants. You will be responsible for functional solution design, configuration, and implementation of D365 F&O SCM modules. Your expertise will directly support our diverse client base in manufacturing, logistics, and distribution sectors, bridging the gap between business needs and system capabilities. This role requires strong Manufacturing expertise, the ability to lead Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) and workshops independently, and experience managing full-cycle implementations from Analysis to Go-Live.
Lead functional requirement gathering workshops with client stakeholders through all project phases from Analysis to Go-Live to understand current business processes and pain points.
Design and document functional solutions that leverage standard D365 F&O capabilities to minimize customization.
Perform detailed gap analysis and draft Functional Design Documents (FDD) for required customizations.
Configure D365 F&O SCM modules including Production Control, Master Planning, MRP, MPS, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, and Advanced Warehouse Management Systems (AWMS) according to approved solution design.
Provide expert consultation on Production Control processes including production orders, capacity requirements planning, shop floor control, and manufacturing execution.
Configure and optimize Master Planning, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Master Production Schedule (MPS), and demand forecasting for Manufacturing environments.
Implement and configure Advanced Warehouse Management Systems (AWMS) including wave processing, work templates, location directives, and mobile device workflows.
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure customizations are implemented correctly and meet functional expectations.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across all project phases.
Create training materials and conduct end-user training sessions to ensure successful system adoption.
Provide post-go-live support and resolve functional issues raised by the client.
Advise clients on industry best practices for supply chain, manufacturing operations, inventory management, and logistics specific to Manufacturing industries.
Provide guidance on D365 F&O licensing models and recommend optimal licensing strategies based on user roles and requirements.
Assist in data migration activities, including mapping data fields and validating imported data.
Manage client expectations effectively and communicate project status, risks, and issues to the project manager.
Functional Expertise: Deep knowledge of D365 F&O Supply Chain workflows and configurations.
Manufacturing Expertise (Non-Negotiable): Strong expertise in BOM & Route configuration, Production order lifecycle management, Capacity planning (finite/infinite scheduling), Subcontracting processes, Intercompany production, Shop floor control and manufacturing execution, and Lean manufacturing (preferred).
Planning & MRP (Must Have): Comprehensive knowledge of Master planning setup, Coverage groups configuration, Forecast models, MPS vs MRP distinctions, Planning optimization, and Safety stock & lead time strategy.
AWMS Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems including wave processing, cluster picking, directed put-away and pick, work templates, location directives, mobile device menu configurations, Batch/serial tracking, and License plate management.
Procurement & Sales: Strong knowledge of RFQ process, Vendor collaboration portals, Trade agreements configuration, Intercompany sales processes, and Pricing & discount structures.
Data & Go-Live Ownership: Proven expertise in data templates development, migration validation, UAT leadership, and cutover execution management.
Implementation: Proven experience in at least 3 full-cycle D365 F&O implementations from Analysis to Go-Live.
Industry Knowledge: Strong hands-on experience working with Manufacturing industries, understanding their production processes, supply chain challenges, and ERP requirements. Manufacturing experience is mandatory.
Workshop Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) and workshops independently with C-level stakeholders.
Licensing Knowledge: Understanding of D365 F&O licensing models, user types, and ability to advise clients on license optimization.
Documentation: Strong documentation discipline with proficiency in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRD), FDDs, and User Manuals.
Tools: Experience with Azure DevOps for task management and BPM tools within LCS.
Testing: Strong capability in defining test scenarios and managing UAT cycles.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, handle client escalations, and mentor junior consultants.
International Work: Ability and willingness to work onsite internationally as required by project needs.
