Job Title: Senior Full-Stack / Backend Developer (Remote)

Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Full-Stack / Backend Developer to join our dynamic, distributed engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance distributed systems
.While this is a 100% remote position, you must be aligned with and able to work during US Central Time (CST) business hours to ensure seamless collaboration with our product and engineering teams
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Development: Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable backend microservices and responsive front-end components
- API Design: Build secure, high-throughput, and well-documented RESTful APIs
- Event-Driven Systems: Implement event-driven architectures and real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka
- Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, QA, and fellow engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, write comprehensive unit/integration tests, and mentor junior developers
Required Skills & Qualification
Backend Expertise
- Core Java: Deep understanding of Java (8 or higher), including multi-threading, concurrency, data structures, and OOP design patterns
Spring Framework: Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, and Spring Data
- Microservices: Proven track record of designing, building, and deploying microservices architectures
- RESTful APIs: Strong expertise in API design, documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI), and integration
Frontend & Streaming
- React: Proficient in building modern, responsive web applications using React.js, state management (Redux/Context API), and modern frontend build tools
- .Apache Kafka: Hands-on experience with Kafka for event streaming, message queuing, and building pub/sub architectures
Cloud & DevOps
- AWS (Amazon Web Services): Practical experience with core AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch
- Database Knowledge: Experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases
Logistics & Soft Skills
- Time Zone Availability: Must be fully available to work during US Central Standard Time (CST) hours
