We are looking for a Software Developer to join our dynamic Compliance IT team. This role will report into technology, working closely with the compliance and operations teams. This role involves supporting, maintaining and enhancing the compliance applications.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain the compliance application.
- Provide L3 support.
- Create unit and functional tests.
- Support technical initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Reduce technical debt in the code.
Requirements
- Hands-on development role in BE and FE.
- Full-stack developer having strong backend skills in Java and MS SQL Server.
- Good experience in FE technologies including HTML, CSS, React, Node.js, and Material-UI.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Modern DevOps best practices such as automation, CI/CD, orchestration and observability.
- Cloud exposure (ideally AWS or Azure) and understanding of how it can be utilised in a hybrid environment.
Good To Have
- Experience in Python.
- Familiarity with commodities or financial institutions / banking environments is advantageous.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
