Senior Fullstack Developer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Developer to join our team. The role involves building end-to-end features using React front-end components and Spring Boot REST services. You will support the conversion of existing .NET code into Spring Boot microservices as part of our modernization strategy. Your contributions will be vital to the Car Hire Payable MVP targeted for the first quarter.

Responsibilities:

• Build end-to-end features spanning React front-end components and Spring Boot REST services.
• Support conversion of existing .NET code into Spring Boot microservices.
• Wire front-end screens to backend APIs and validate data flows against legacy behavior.
• Participate in discovery workshops to help define the detailed scope of the CR.
• Write unit, integration, and component tests to meet CI/CD coverage gates.
• Coordinate with Front-End and Backend developers and the Car Hire Plus technical lead on integration points.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives).

Requirements:

• 5 years of full-stack development experience with Java/Spring Boot and React.
• Strong hands-on experience building REST APIs with Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA.
• Solid React front-end development skills, including component design and API integration.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases.
• Comfortable reading and converting legacy .NET code as part of a modernization effort.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, code review, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Senior-level candidate — role is not suited to junior or staff-level profiles.

Required Skills:

• Exposure to AI-assisted code conversion tools (GitHub Copilot or similar).
• Experience with Kafka or IBM MQ-based integrations.
• Experience on fixed-scope CR or milestone-based engagements.
• Familiarity with logistics, freight, or supply-chain domain applications.
