Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Tech Lead to own the technical direction of our product engineering team. The ideal candidate will architect scalable systems, drive engineering best practices, mentor a team of developers, and work hands-on across the stack — from frontend experiences in React.js/Next.js to backend services in Node.js and GraphQL APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and own end-to-end technical design of scalable, high-performance web applications

Build responsive, production-grade frontend experiences using React.js and Next.js (SSR, SSG, ISR)

Design and develop robust backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs using Node.js

Design efficient GraphQL schemas, resolvers, and federated services

Define coding standards, lead code reviews, and enforce engineering best practices across the team

Mentor and guide a team of full stack engineers, supporting their technical growth

Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions

Own production reliability, performance tuning, and incident response for critical systems

Partner with DevOps/Infra on CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and cloud architecture decisions

Required Skills:

8+ years of full stack development experience, including 3+ years leading engineering teams or owning architecture

Strong hands-on expertise in React.js and Next.js, including SSR/SSG/ISR, routing, and performance optimization

Deep experience building scalable backend services with Node.js (Express/Nest.js or equivalent)

Proven expertise designing and consuming GraphQL APIs (schema design, resolvers, Apollo/Federation, or similar)

Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices, and system architecture patterns

Solid grasp of relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, etc.)

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker; Kubernetes a plus)

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile development practices

Excellent communication skills with proven experience mentoring or leading engineering teams

Nice to Have:

Experience with TypeScript across the full stack

Exposure to serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Vercel Edge Functions)

Familiarity with monorepo tooling (Turborepo, Nx)

Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)

Prior experience in a startup or high-growth product environment

Experience working on e-commerce platforms (catalog, cart, checkout, payments, order management)
