About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in the MERN stack, JavaScript, blockchain technologies and application architecture. You will be responsible for developing scalable applications, APIs, blockchain integrations and payment workflows for SynQ Social, working across frontend and backend systems to deliver secure, high-performance and reliable product experiences.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using React.js, Node.js, Express.js and JavaScript.

● Build secure RESTful APIs, implement business logic and optimise application performance.

● Develop and manage MongoDB databases, schemas and queries.

● Integrate blockchain networks, smart contracts, wallets and decentralised application functionalities.

● Develop backend systems for social networking, marketplace operations, user management and transaction processing.

● Implement payment gateway integrations, including payment verification, webhooks, refunds and reconciliation.

● Build real-time communication and data synchronisation systems using WebSockets.

● Implement message brokers and event-driven architectures for asynchronous communication and distributed processing.

● Develop secure authentication, authorisation and data management workflows.

● Collaborate with engineering, design and QA teams to deliver reliable, production-ready applications.

● Troubleshoot, maintain and optimise existing application services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

● 4–6 years of professional experience in full-stack or backend development.

● Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, Express.js and React.js.

● Hands-on experience with MongoDB and database design.

● Strong understanding of the MERN stack and RESTful API development.

● Experience with blockchain technologies, EVM-compatible networks, smart contracts, ethers.js or Web3.js.

● Experience integrating payment gateways such as Stripe, Razorpay or equivalent platforms.

● Hands-on experience with WebSockets and real-time application development.

● Understanding of message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka or Redis Pub/Sub.

● Knowledge of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture and distributed systems.

● Understanding of authentication, API security and transaction management.

● Familiarity with Git, Docker, cloud deployment and CI/CD practices.

● Strong problem-solving, debugging and system design skills.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience with Web3 applications, decentralised marketplaces or blockchain-based products.

● Knowledge of Solidity, microservices and advanced distributed system patterns.

● Experience with real-time messaging, notifications and distributed communication systems.

● Ability to independently manage full-stack modules and contribute to architectural decisions.
