Position Overview
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will own end-to-end development of web applications — from scalable Java-based microservices to responsive React frontends. You will bring technical depth to architecture decisions, lead code reviews, and mentor junior engineers while delivering production-grade features that directly impact enterprise clients across multiple industries.
Role & Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable backend services using Java (8+), Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA within a microservices architecture
- Build dynamic, responsive UI components using React.js (Hooks, Functional Components) with Redux or Context API for state management
- Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs to integrate frontend and backend systems seamlessly
- Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security across the full stack
- Manage builds using Maven or Gradle; contribute to CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, QA, and DevOps
Must Have Criteria
- 6 years of hands-on experience in full stack development with Java (8+) and React.js
- Deep proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot for building production-grade backend services
- Demonstrated experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture at scale
- Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA and strong SQL skills using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
- Proficiency in React.js including Hooks, Functional Components, and state management via Redux or Context API
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and at least one UI library (Material UI, Bootstrap, or Tailwind)
- Working knowledge of Git and build tools (Maven or Gradle)
Nice to Have
- Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments
- Exposure to CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of Webpack or Babel for frontend build optimization
- Prior experience in enterprise or consulting environments serving large-scale clients
