Senior Fullstack Java Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Java Engineer with 12+ years of experience to design and build enterprise-grade, microservices-based healthcare applications. This role requires mandatory hands-on healthcare claims processing experience — either provider-side or payor-side — along with strong Java 17+, Spring Boot/Cloud, and cloud-native (AWS) expertise. Hybrid work model based in Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-grade full stack applications using Java (17+) and modern frontend frameworks
- Build and maintain microservices-based architectures for scalable healthcare systems
- Develop and optimize healthcare claims processing workflows
- Integrate applications with AWS cloud services and distributed systems
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security compliance (HIPAA-aligned environments)
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decisions
- Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering best practices
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of experience in Java Full Stack Development
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+ features (streams, records, pattern matching, etc.)
- Backend expertise: Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture
- Frontend experience with Angular / React / modern JavaScript frameworks
- Strong understanding of microservices design patterns (circuit breaker, API gateway, service discovery)
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Hands-on AWS experience: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch
- Database experience: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills
Healthcare Domain Experience (MANDATORY — Non-Negotiable)
- Must have hands-on experience in healthcare claims processing — either provider-side or payor-side (candidates without direct claims processing experience will not be considered)
- Working knowledge of claims adjudication workflows
- Experience with eligibility, benefits, and payer systems
- Familiarity with healthcare standards: HIPAA, HL7
