Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer/Team Lead to join our team and lead the development of robust, scalable, and secure web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of React.js, Node.js, Express.js, Python, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, and expertise in implementing secure authentication protocols like JWT. You will take ownership of projects, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack web applications.
- Develop and maintain server-side APIs using Node.js and Express.js with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Build and optimize dynamic, user-friendly front-end components using React.js.
- Handling server-side logic, database management, and API development using Python (FastAPI Library)
- Architect, integrate, and manage databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Implement secure user authentication and authorization workflows using JWT and other best practices.
- Drive the adoption of coding standards, best practices, and modern development methodologies.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends, recommending improvements to processes and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of professional experience in full-stack development, with a proven track record of building and maintaining scalable applications.
- Strong expertise in:
- Python for backend development.
- React.js for creating interactive, responsive front-end interfaces.
- Node.js and Express.js for server-side programming.
- Databases: PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.
- Secure authentication mechanisms like JWT.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in Agile environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of GraphQL APIs and WebSocket-based real-time applications.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior developers.
