Techtinium is looking for an ambitious Senior Python Full-stack Developer to join our team in Chennai. You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for developing new features and functionality for an asset management SaaS platform, including integrations, performance optimisation, and ongoing maintenance.
You will work closely with the head of product, CTO, and UI/UX designer to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customers expectations. This is a role with real influence: you will contribute to platform architecture decisions and have the opportunity to shape the long-term technical direction of the product.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, the head of product, and the CTO to translate customer requirements into production-ready solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
- Build modern, responsive frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Drive development of new platform features and functionality end-to-end.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and continuously improve the platform's technical foundations.
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party services and APIs.
- Write clean, modular, loosely coupled code with an emphasis on quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices across the team.
- Take ownership of implementation projects independently when required.
Requirements
- Excellent command of Python and modern JavaScript, particularly React (Remix or React Router experience is a plus).
- Strong experience with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5 CSS3 and CSS preprocessors.
- Solid understanding of object-orientated programming (OOP) and functional programming principles.
- Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design.
- Experience with ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
- Strong experience with Git and modern version control workflows.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Familiarity with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Experience with asynchronous programming (asyncio, Celery, or background workers).
- Working experience with Linux environments.
- CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Comfortable working in Agile development environments.
