Senior Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a Senior Backend / Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in Node.js, backend system design, application architecture, scalable system development, deployment, and production troubleshooting.

The role is primarily focused on backend engineering and system design, with moderate exposure to React.js for frontend development and integration.

The ideal candidate should be capable of handling complex technical scenarios, designing scalable backend systems, troubleshooting production issues, and taking ownership of applications from development through deployment and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Design and implement backend architecture, APIs, services, and integrations.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Make architectural decisions related to performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop and optimize REST APIs and backend services.
• Handle complex technical scenarios and provide effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• Monitor application performance and identify potential scalability and reliability issues.
• Work closely with DevOps teams on application deployment, releases, and production environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Optimize backend applications for performance, availability, and high-volume workloads.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and contribute to React.js-based application integration as required.
• Review code and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.

Required Skills

Backend – Primary

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Strong expertise in Backend System Design and Architecture.
• Experience designing scalable and high-performance systems.
• Strong experience in REST API development and integration.
• Experience handling complex technical and production scenarios.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Experience with production issue analysis, root-cause analysis, and resolution.
• Good understanding of application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Experience with application deployment and production environments.

Frontend – Secondary

• Good working knowledge of React.js.
• Ability to understand and work with existing React.js applications.
• Experience integrating React.js applications with backend APIs.
• Frontend development will be a secondary responsibility compared to backend engineering.

Good to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Experience with caching, messaging systems, queues, load balancing, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with distributed systems.

Experience

5+ years of experience in software development, with strong hands-on experience in Node.js and backend engineering.

Candidates with strong experience in backend architecture, scalable system design, production troubleshooting, and deployment are preferred.
