Senior Full Stack Developer (.NET + Next.js) | India, Full Time, Remote

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to work with a US-based client. The platform is built using **ASP.NET Core Web APIs and Next.js**, and the core system has already been modernized.

The focus of this role is on building new modules on top of this foundation, with an emphasis on clean design, scalability, and maintainability.

You'll work closely with the client's product team, with regular demos and iterative delivery.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop backend services using **ASP.NET Core Web API**
• Build responsive frontend features using Next.js
• Develop new modules on top of an existing modernized platform
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Participate in design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Deliver features incrementally with regular demos
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Must-Have Experience

• Strong experience in .NET / ASP.NET Core / Web API
• Hands-on experience with Next.js (or modern React frameworks)
• Ability to build end-to-end features (backend + frontend)
• Solid understanding of REST API design and backend architecture
• Strong fundamentals in SQL and relational databases
• Experience working independently with ownership
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Clean Architecture and Vertical Slice Architecture (VSA)
• Exposure to microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with Azure (App Services, basic cloud deployment)
• Strong SQL skills (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning)
• Experience with Python for data processing or integrations

Schedule

• Requires 3 hours overlap with US (California) timezone
• Remaining hours can be flexible within India working hours

Location & Type

• Remote (India)
• Contract role with potential extension

Compensation

• INR 10 lakhs to INR 14 lakhs per annum (in-hand) based on candidate experience and profile.
• In case your expectation is higher than INR 14 lakhs per annum, kindly do not apply.
• Contract will be directly with our US company. You will be paid monthly by international wire transfer.
